It was a little tough drawing the store. I originally wanted Ryo walking in through the door in there to get to her house, but it just didn't work out that way. The store is located in the back--the road there is full of shops. Another example of a house with a 'built-in' store is in the Japanese drama, Beautiful Life. In that, Kyoko's parents own a liquor store adjacent to their home.
