Now we get a decent look at Ryo's dad. He's worked hard in his business to make sure his family can live comfortably. Since Ryo is out of school and works, she probably contributes some money as well. it's normal for Japanese adults to live in their parents' house well into their 20's, or at least until they get married (and even then, their spouse might move in!)
