freetalk for 5.22.06: Here's the first comic page of chapter 5. The gang is all meeting at a karaoke place for the evening. (I called it Karaoke KAN. There is an actual chain of karaoke places called Karaoke-kan--with 'kan' written in Kanji.) This will be the first time Ryo and Watanabe meet Mitsuru's coworkers. The storefront is a little bland T_T; A lot of karaoke stops have elaborate lobbies, however--some even have themed rooms! You pay per hour, and some have unlimited refills on beer and full menus. Their music catalogues are HUGE--just about every Japanese single ever recorded is available. There are usually wide selections of foreign songs, too, and a book devoted entirely to anime songs. We'll get to see a lot of this as the chapter progresses :D
