This round's drawing theme is: WINTER. (Scroll down for entries!) THE CONTEST IS CLOSED! Thanks to everyone who entered!!  ryo and watanabe by claire  ryo by ginny Show us your skills and you could win a 'walk-on role' in the comic! There are two categories--drawing and captions. It goes like this--draw any one (or two, or more!) of your favorite characters in a winter setting (snowball fights, holiday parties, whatever floats your boat!), or if you're not into the drawing thing, try your hand at making up a funny caption to go with any of the existing panels in the comic (scroll down for examples). Don't worry if you don't have any image-editing software! Just e-mail me (rules are down below) with the page and panel numbers along with your witty captions written out. The contest ends December 16th, 2007 at 11:59 PM, so get crackin'! :D
Rules: Participants can live anywhere in the world to enter, and be any age. Participants may submit as many pieces of art or as many captions as they like, but may only win in one of the categories. People who have won previous contests may enter just for fun this time around. Prizes cannot be substituted. Please make sure to include your name or screen name you would like used when submitting. Fan art submissions can be up to 1 MB in size and can be e-mailed to genji_kanzaki at hotmail dot com with the subject 'fan art contest submission.' If you would like to snail-mail it, feel free to e-mail me at the above address for further instructions. Fan art may have tasteful nudity but try to keep it around a pg-13 level. Captions cannot have excessive profanity (you know what I put in the comic, but if you've still got concerns let me know) or derogatory speech. Submissions do not have to be in color; you can do whatever you're most comfortable with! No purchase necessary. Prizes cannot be substituted. One (1) grand-prize winner will be selected from each of the two categories, as well as one runner-up. Each grand-prize winner will receive a GSS prize pack that includes a mini calendar, buttons, stickers, and other goodies, and have themselves drawn into a panel of an upcoming chapter. Runners-up will receive a doodle of their choice. Contest ends December 16th, 2007 at 11:59 PM. All artwork will be judged by the readers of GSS!! If you have any further questions, e-mail me!
